“FEMININE, cool and just a bit raunchy,” is how Annette and Daniela Felder describe their collection for autumn/winter 2009-10, which, as this exclusive sketch shows, is inspired by Iggy Pop, PJ Harvey and the early punk movement.
“Be prepared for a lot of attitude,” warn the BFA-nominated German twins ahead of their London Fashion Week show. “In times like this there is no space for fillers. Each piece is a lover’s piece.”
The show will feature a delicate balance of hard-edged embellished leather and body-con pieces with luscious-sounding silk crepes and chiffons, which promise to drape and sheath the body in the suitably sexy girly-meets-rock ‘n roll vibe that the label is famous for.
London Fashion Week from February 22, to see all the photos from the Felder Felder presentation, which will be happening in the exhibition tent and sponsored by Topshop and New Gen.
